The Climate Marathon is an initiative of Climate-KIC (the EU Knowledge and Innovation Community on Climate Change), which invites people from around the world who are interested and able to contribute to the environmental issues facing their cities. This is the fifth year that the University of Liverpool is participating in the Climate Marathon.
Unlike previous years, this year’s Climate Marathon did not focus on global issues, but rather on the root cause of local problems that cannot be solved – carbon literacy. As part of the strategic development focus of the University of Liverpool International Business School, this year’s Climate Marathon offered free carbon literacy training to all participants.
