Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a UN-backed initiative founded in 2007. As a platform to raise the profile of sustainability in schools around the world, PRME empowers today’s business students to understand and be empowered to effect change tomorrow.PRME follows six principles that engage business and management schools to ensure that they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainable development goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and bringing academic institutions to align with the work of the UN Global Compact. A voluntary initiative of over 800 signatories worldwide, PRME has become the largest organised relationship between the UN and management-related higher education institutions. Since 2017, RCE Suzhou’s applicant, SIP International Business School, has been a signatory to the UNPRME. 2021 UNPRME Global Annual Conference is hosted by SIP International Business School.
